Christine Wenn' s Family
MY GREAT-GRANDFATHER AND GREAT-GRANDMOTHER'S NAMES WERE WILLIAM AND CHARLOTTE WENN. IN THE 1881 CENSUS THEY LIVED AT WAGGON AT HALE ROAD CHATHAM KENT ENGLAND WITH THEIR SIX CHILDREN FREDRICK,Apprentice Gas Fitter age 18 years, EDWIN,Drapers Assistant age 14 years, THOMAS age 11 years, ALFRED age 7 years, RUEBEN age 5 years AND CHARLOTTE age 2 years.
There was also another daughter LUCY born about 1882. There were also two boarder's, Edwin Fleming and William Mitchell. Edwin Fleming was Charlotte's brother. William and Charlotte's eldest son William who would have been 20 does not appear in the census.

321 LUTON ROAD, CHATHAM, KENT. In 1901 Edwin 34 lived here with his wife Charlotte 32, son William 2 and their daughter Frances aged 8 months. Edwin was a Carpenter.

Charlotte Wenn aged 64 lived here with her son Rueben 26 Baker Breadmaker and her daughter Lucy aged 19. There were also two boarder's, Samuel Clark 20 and George Motley 27, both Baker Breadmaker's. It appear's William must have died. 105 ST. MARY'S ROAD, FAVERSHAM, KENT. Fredrick 39 lived here with his wife Alice 32, four son's Fredrick 11, Ernest 6, Maurice 3, Arthur 2 and their two daughter's Emily 9 and Florence aged 7. Fredrick was a Tinsmith. 58 CONNAUGHT ROAD, CHATHAM KENT. Thomas 31 lived here with his wife Miriam 29 and their two daughter's Miriam 5 and Gladys aged 4. Thomas was a Painter's Labourer. 200 LUTON ROAD, CHATHAM KENT. Alfred 28 lived here with his wife Emily aged 24. Alfred was a Fishmonger(shopkeeper). There were also two boarder's, William File 10 and Captain Greenhalgh aged 19, a Fish/cleaner and Fryer.60 LUTON ROAD, CHATHAM KENT. William 40 lived here with his wife Ann 42 and their six daughter's Ann 17 a Tailoress, Dora 15, Emma 12, Charlotte 9, Emily 6, Harriet 4 and their son William aged 14 a Shopboy. William senior was a Tailor.
